SDN Marrickville Children’s Education and Care Centre opened as a child care centre in 1944 to meet the needs of families who worked in local factories. These days our families work further afield but we remain committed to our early values of providing high-quality education and care for children, and supporting the needs of our families.  Our educational programs are supported by two Early Childhood Teachers, one Mothercraft nurse, four TAFE-trained Educators and four experienced Early Childhood Assistants. Our team of Educators is passionate about working with children and families as well as working at SDN Marrickville. In fact, SDN’s longest serving staff member, Peggy Lane, has worked at our centre for 35 years!
