The Orana After School Care (ASC) service offers a warm, caring environment for school-aged children from 3pm to 5.55pm, Monday to Friday, during the school term.

Government subsidies are available to eligible families as Orana ASC is an ‘approved’ childcare provider. Orana ASC’s current overall NQF rating is ‘Meeting National Standards’.

At ASC the children are welcomed into a homely environment supportive of play, leisure and homework activities.

Our afternoon commences with drawing/homework time followed by a wholesome, ‘family-style’ afternoon tea prepared by the staff and children. Hands-on opportunities supportive of individual endeavour, social interaction and learning are offered. These activities may include building, digging, games, circus, bushwalking, singing, drama, movement, painting and modelling.
