Stirling Community Early Learning Centre is a community based, not-for-profit child care centre. We offer a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment to foster the development of the children in our care. We provide care to children aged from six weeks to five years and are committed to building partnerships with parents to ensure families feel comfortable, respected, supported and connected.

Our educators are experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated and include a balance of children's services professionals and assistants.

Our centre is managed by a committee of staff and parents. It is located at the corner of Pine Street and Milan Terrace in Stirling, in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, with spacious, attractive grounds.

The Ranges Child Care Centres

137 Mount Barker Road, Stirling SA 5152

The Ranges Early Learning and Care Centres respects children’s right to quality child care experiences. We believe child care is equivalent to child education, that each child be provided the opportunity for their potential to be recognised rather than reflecting on their needs or what is lacking, thus facilitating an open, inquiry based learning environment.

Children at The Ranges are recognised as protagonists in their own lives, they gain recognition and welcoming from others for their similarities and differences.

Children feel how adults treat them and give importance to their ideas and activities. At The Ranges children will be given the freedom to create their own experiences, not to follow other ideas. They will be encouraged to study different points of view, experience richness in differences and similarities.

Reorganisation of children’s knowledge occurs with continual exposure and exploration of their own ideas and images. At The Ranges children will be involved in collaborative and co-constructive processes of learning that teach children to participate in learning experiences not only as an individual but also as part of a group. This will be achieved by listening, commenting, researching, collaborating, supporting and respecting the children’s processes. When viewing the final product the process, thinking and presentation are all to be considered.

The Ranges will emphasise the exchange of ideas between children, staff and families. It will acknowledge that the relationship between these groups exists as both the educators and the educated.

Why don’t you come and join Zebra, and let our Centre be an extension of your family. Together we will develop your child’s potential to prepare for life’s journey.

At Zebra we focus on the wellbeing and early learning of each individual child, with the implementation of the holistic approach to their care and education.

Our caring staff will nurture your children and will strive to enhance each child’s potential to feel confident to develop their independence and autonomy.

At Zebra, our early learning framework will promote children’s natural curiosity to observe, explore, question, reason and solve problems. Children will develop empathy and respect for others, begin to build relationships, participate in new experiences and develop very important life skills. Children learn from play and there is a lot of fun and a lot of play at Zebra.
