It is our pleasure to welcome your family to Tewantin Early Learning Centre, Tewantin Childcare. We understand that placing your child in someone else's care is an important decision and as such, we feel privileged to play an integral role in your child's learning and development at Tewantin Early Learning Centre, Tewantin.

Our aim is to function as an extended family in order to provide your child with the security, warmth and love which are essential to their development and growth.

Our professional and dedicated carers provide a program that enables children to learn through exploration and stimulating experiences. We aspire to create an environment that provides enjoyable and creative learning. This is achieved through activities designed to support your child in all areas of growth.

we provide

  • After School Care

    For primary aged children after school (generally between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm).

  • Before School Care

    For primary aged children before school (generally between 7:30 am-9:00 am).

  • Day Care

    Care in day care centres mainly for children up to school age. Also known as kindergartens, preschools, child care centres or early learning centres. Generally between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm.

  • Family day care

    A network of caregivers who provide care and developmental activities in their homes for other people's children.

  • In Home Care

    Available to children who meet certain eligibility criteria. Provided by an approved carer in your home.

  • Kindergarten

    An early childhood education program that prepares children for school. Approved Kindergarten Program's are taught by qualified early childhood teachers. Generally between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm.

  • Occasional Care

    Flexible care allowing families to meet their work and non-work related commitments. A centre-based form of child care, mainly for children up to school age.

  • Playgroup

    Meeting of children arranged by their parents or a welfare agency for an opportunity of supervised creative play.

  • Preschool

    an educational establishment offering early childhood education to children between the ages of three and five, prior to the commencement of compulsory education at primary school.

  • Vacation Care

    For primary aged children during school holidays generally between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
